How EmergencyOS Mustering Works
Step 1
Access Site Settings
Within EmergencyOS, click on the settings icon and select Sites. Choose the site where you want to designate a mustering point.
Step 2
Add a Mustering Point
In the Mustering Points section, click Add. Enter a name, address, and estimated time to reach the location. This estimated time will be used for reporting purposes post evacuation when reviewing the total time taken to get everyone onsite to safety and then to return them to productivity post evacuation.
Step 3
Assign Safety Officers
Select one or more responsible safety officers who will be responsible for monitoring this mustering point.
Step 4
Save & Confirm
Click Save to finalize the setup. Ensure employees and visitors know their designated mustering points, as evacuation SMS messages sent during an event will only reference these locations by name (e.g., North Parking Structure). Employees can see the available mustering points as a pinned location on Apple or Google Maps in our mobile app if they have been created as a user with a basic role. All employees and visitors need to be familiar with the location of their designated mustering point.
